Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Centennial Inn on Bathurst in Launceston turned out to be a delightful experience, perfectly suited for a brief retreat. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by Theresa, who set the tone for our stay with her friendly demeanor and helpful nature. The room we occupied was clean and comfortable, equipped with amenities that truly catered to our needs, including a flat-screen TV and convenient tea/coffee making facilities-a lovely touch reminiscent of my own tea plantation background. The location was another highlight; being just a stone's throw from a local Coles supermarket and within walking distance to landmarks like Cataract Gorge made it easy to explore the area. We also indulged in a sumptuous meal downstairs at Steve's Grill, which truly exceeded our expectations with excellent flavors that made the evening a treat. For those planning a visit to Launceston, Centennial Inn stands out as a smart choice; it perfectly balances comfort and convenience, providing everything one might desire for both relaxation and exploration. Whether traveling alone or with friends, this charming inn makes for an inviting home-away-from-home in the heart of lovely Launceston.
